Arrivals & Departures

The last few months have seen new additions to the WH family as we welcomed colleagues to the sales, warehouse and delivery teams.

In July our growing sales team saw the arrival of two new colleagues, Emma Wands and Richard Bradford (pictured). Emma has gained experience in a range of sales positions and will be training with support and guidance from our experienced and talented customer service team over the next few months. She is already displaying great potential and is sure to become a firm favourite with the customers.

Already settled into his new role in the sales team, Richard has joined us in the role of Sales Executive from one of our competitors, Bako, and with over 27 years’ of sales experience in the baking and catering industry he has hit the ground running at WH and is fast becoming a familiar face among our customers. We are sure both Emma and Richard have a bright and happy future ahead of them with WH.

Richard is currently working alongside Gerry Brownridge, our Sales Director, who after seven years at WH will be sadly leaving us at the end of the year to embark upon the next exciting stage in his life – retirement. A key member of the team, Gerry is well respected among colleagues and customers alike and we are determined to make his last few months with us memorable ones.

Another familiar face for many of our customers, who has recently left WH to return to his career in the Royal Marines, is our HGV driver, Joe Milner, who has been a pleasure to work with in his short time at WH. We wish him all the best for the future. You might have already met Joe’s temporary replacement, Tom Elmy who is currently with us as a relief HGV driver.
Our warehouse department has also seen the arrival of two new colleagues, Michael Lowden and Karl Hanson who both join our Goods Out team. Michael already knows a familiar face at WH as his mum, Jean Lowden, is one of our Customer Service Advisors.

And finally, we always aim to recognise the talent in our colleagues at WH and as such recently created a new role for one of our team members. It gives us great pleasure to welcome Kaye Wright to her new role as Customer Service Supervisor. We wish her every success and are confident that WH will continue to offer exceptional levels of service to all our customers.
